Description

The Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP Extravecchio (lit. extra old) from the Castelli vinegar factory comes from the best selected grapes from the sunny hills of Modena. This balsamic vinegar has been tasted and evaluated by experts who have issued, as members of the Consortium, the prestigious authorization to label it as Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Available in 100ml format designed by Giugiaro, with drip-free cork stopper. The Extravecchio label requires at least 25 years of aging and 255 points.

Visually it has an intense, limpid and brilliant brown color. Very dense and persistent.

The olfactory examination shows a penetrating and persistent flavor, with an intense bouquet with a pleasant sour note, aromas of wood from the barrels (oak, cherry, mulberry, acacia and chestnut).
